ALUMNI MEET 2021 – REPORT
The Department of Visual Communication organized virtual Alumni Meet 2021 for the students of first 3 batches. The planned objective was to interact with the alumni, planning future events in the department. 320 students participated in the programme. Start with we all paid our deepest condolences to our student Sathyan(2015-18batch) who recently passed away. The welcome speech was given by the head of the department Mr.Parthasarathy. All other staff members addressed the students and follow with the students batch wise were sharing their thoughts and experiences. They discussed about their beautiful college days at SRM and interacted with the staff members and with their friends. They also insisted and requested to have this type of Alumni Meet every year without fail. The event was stimulating and enjoyable and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views ideate and good numbers of new ideas, information and insights came up. The students sincerely expressed their gratitude to the Head of the department for his guidance and support during their 3 year course and the event was a grand success.
