The Programme was well structured and coordinated by Mrs.U.Karthigai selvi and Mrs. L.Monisha , Assistant Professors , Department of Commerce.Mrs. L.Monisha Assistant Professor, delivered the welcome address and introduced the guest speaker. The speaker for the session was Ms.Abhirami, who has been professionalized in CA, CMA and CS with sound and diverse knowledge in Cost Accounting. She explained the scope of the topic to codify cost accounting standards which is to be followed by business and other entities in India in preparing and presenting cost information – more particularly the General purpose of Cost Statements that has to be covered by Cost Audit. She also covered how these standards should be applied in cost statements which require classification, measurement, assignment, presentation and disclosure of various cost. Around 240 participants took active participation in this webinar. After the splendid presentation by the guest speaker, Mrs.U.Karthigai Selvi, Assistant Professor, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
