Profile of the Speaker:
R.Baskaran is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai, TN, INDIA, also holds the additional responsibility as the Director, Centre for International Relations, Anna University, Chennai. Before this tenure in administration Prof. R.Baskaran has served as Additional Controller of Examinations, Affiliated Institutions from 2018 to 2023. During this period he has been the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Proctored Online Examination for the session Nov/Dec 2020 at Anna University, Chennai. This examination was conducted for 48,00,000 students in one go and was carried out meticulously and successfully. Prof. R.Baskaran has represented India, participated and received the prestigious SAKURA SCIENCE FELLOW – Certificate of achievement under Sakura Science Program Japan in the year 2020 and he has also received Certificate of Appreciation for his Research Excellence Award on this occasion of Teachers day from Prof.M.K.Surappa, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Anna University.
