Mr. Karthik, CEO warmly welcomed us, and we sincerely appreciate his generous hospitality and the effort he put into making our visit enjoyable.
Mr.Ramkumar, COO provided a brief introduction to BUSoft Tech, outlining the company’s flagship products and services which includes Onecore and Fueling Brains, both operational in the US.
The first session was led by the BU Soft Data Engineering Team, consisting of Divya, Rajeswari, and Priyadarshini, who presented a case study on data engineering. They clearly delineated the roles of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts within a project. They illustrated the process and workflow of their current pharmacy project, explaining the use of PySpark, Simple Storage Service (S3), Scrum methodology, Parquet files, the maintenance of a golden copy by Data Engineers, and the pipeline flow in an accessible manner.
The second session was conducted by Lakshmi Narashiman, IT Manager, on the topic of Cloud Computing. He elaborated on the necessity of cloud computing, cloud providers, types of services, and responsibilities. Additionally, he provided a detailed explanation of various Amazon Web Services (AWS) components, including VPC, EC2, Route 53, ELC, RDS, SES, SQS, and SNS, outlining their purposes with clarity.
