Summary of the Event:
The Department of Computer Science & Applications (MCA) organized Career Development Program on Data Science for Future: Bridging the gap to the Future at The National IT International Matriculation Higher secondary School for 12th Standard Students on 07.11.2023, at 10.00 Am to 1.00 PM. The total no of participants are 230 – 12th Standard Students. Dr. N. Indumathi, Assistant Professor, MCA, Dr. R. Renuga Devi, Assistant Professor, MCA and Mr. Mahindra from Final year Data Science Student delivered career guidance to the students.
Dr. N. Indumathi discussed about the importance of Choosing right career path and how to choose the right Institution. She stated that 12th marks are entry tickets to the career, various Disciplines available after 12th. Also mentioned the courses offered by SRM Ramapuram Campus.
Dr. R. Renuga Devi discussed about the importance of Conducting Career Development Programs and the career opportunities for Data Science course. She has given Idea about how to plan the future and how to choose the Institution for better life. She mentioned about the languages to be learn to become a Data Scientist
Finally Mr. Mahindra Final Year Data Science student shared his experience in SRM. He stated that the initiative taken by MCA Department for student Development and placement opportunities in SRM. Then the entire session was opened to the students for raising queries and faculty members has clearly answered all the questions. Entire session was thoughtful to the Students. On behalf of SRM IST Ramapuram, presented a memento to the School Correspondent Dr. Padmavathi, she has very much appreciated the effort taken by the SRM to conduct this program.
