Koozhangal – Movie screening and Interaction with Director, Mr. P S Vinothraj

The Rectangle film club of the Department of Visual Communication of SRM IST Ramapuram organised a film screening and interaction session for the students on 05.01.2024 in the preview theatre.

The Indian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards, the movie “Koozhangal” (pebbles) was screened at the preview theatre. The welcome address was presented by Dr.V.Prabakaran, Head, Media Studies and also felicitated with memento. The students then had the opportunity to engage with the director, Mr. P S Vinothraj through a lively Q&A session. This allowed them to seek advice, gain insights into the director’s experience and learn about navigating the challenges of making a film as the director shared his valuable advice and experience from his personal and professional life.The event facilitated networking between students and the director.

The event was successfully conducted and co-ordinated by the film club co-ordinators and members in the guidance of Ms. P Yuvarani, Programme Coordinator,Visual Communication.
