Dr. T.S.Suganya Assistant Professor / BCA introduced the guest and speaks about his various achievement in his carrier.
Then Guest Mr. A. Kameshwaran, M.Tech. (IT) Started with an Introduction to Data Analysis. Stated that data analysis is the process of systematically applying statistical and logical techniques.
He discussed about the importance of Data analytics in businesses optimize their performances.
Implementing JAMOVI in business, helps to reduce costs by identifying more efficient ways of doing business and by storing large amounts of data.
Then he introduced JAMOVI open statistical software for the desktop and cloud.
JAMOVI is a new “3rd generation” statistical spreadsheet.
He differentiated JAMOVI is a compelling alternative to costly statistical products such as SPSS and SAS.
JAMOVI is built on top of the R statistical language.
He explained various menus in JAMOVI.
He clarified all the doubts for staffs and students.
The session ends with student’s feedback. Total number of students participated 85.
