TITBIT – 2024
The Department of Fashion Designing organized a Kids Runway TITBIT – 2024 for the students of I B. Sc Fashion Designing, SRMIST, Ramapuram as a part of student’s knowledge enrichment program on 13-02-2024 at TRP Auditorium on 9:00 am by inviting the chief guests RTN PHF R. Shanmuganathan, Charter President, Rotary Club of Chennai, Korattur and RTN PHF S. Anbuselvi, Treasurer, Inner Wheel Club, Korattur.
The event started with a prayer song, followed by the welcome address by Swetha Menon N P, Assistant Prof and Head of the Department. The Guest Speakers addressed the future designers saying that they should work hard and create more designs. The first-year students of 33 members showcased their garments constructed in their practical classes which would be helpful for them to gain knowledge on stitching garments, preparation for fashion shows and showcasing their garments. The event ended with vote of thanks by Assistant Professor Mr. J. Sathya Narayanan. The event was convened by Swetha Menon N P, Assistant Prof and Head of the Department and co – convened by J. Sathya Narayanan, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Designing.
