INTERACTIVE SESSION – “MANJUMMEL BOYS” MOVIE CREW MEMBERS
The Department of Visual Communication and Film Technology – Rectangle Film club organized an interactive session with crew members of “Manjummel Boys” – on 07 March 2024 at 11am in Gallery Hall 4, 4th floor Block 5, SRMIST
The Manjummel Boys movie team consisted of Director Mr.Chidambaram.S.Poduval, Supportive actor Mr. Ramachandran, Crew members – Mr. Vijay Gaurav, Mr. Karthikeyan, Mr. Chitarasan, Mr. Karthikeyan, Mr. Shankar, Mr.Mani Kutty and Ms. Vijayalakshmi. The programme was hosted by celebrity host Mr.Abhishek Raja and students of Visual communication. The welcome address was proposed by Dr.V.Prabakaran, Head,School Of Media Studies.
The purpose of the event was to provide an appealing and educational experience for the students, as well as an opportunity to interact with the director of the film. The students were wrapped up in the cinematic experience, and the atmosphere was filled with expectation and emotions throughout the session.
The question and answer session with the movie cast and crew, was imminent into the making of the film. The discussion encouraged students to share their understanding and reflections on the film. Mr.Chidambaram.S.Poduval shared insights into the filmmaking process, the inspiration behind the story, and the challenges faced during production. The interaction allowed the students to gain a deeper appreciation of the cinema and the director’s vision. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.B.K.HariPriya, Assistant Professor and the event was successfully conducted and coordinated by club coordinators and club members in guidance of Ms.P.Yuvarani, Programme Coordinator, Visual Communication.
