Welcome Address
- Oviya Yuvashree U Assistant Professor- Fashion Designing presented the welcome address and she welcomed the chief guest of today’s function.
- She concluded her address by stating about the importance of events conducted by the department in providing additional skills to students for better placement.
PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
Maj. Dr. M.Venkatramanan, delivered the presidential address stating that importance and benefits of the course and how the students creativity in designs is improving for the years.
FELICITATIONS:
Swetha Menon NP-Head-Department of Fashion Designing offered felicitations. She concluded her address by stating the importance of the project and students input and output of their projects and how important the fashion field in the current era.
THE DESIGNER’S RUNWAY
A Final Year Portfolio collection show, in which 250 varieties of their collections, designed and created by the final year students of Fashion Designing were displayed. The Chief Guests of the event Ms.Kamali – Celebrity Designer, Abi Nakshathra, the Actress and Deepthie Oreintelu, the Actress/Model wear motivated our budding designers by sharing their expertise in the field of Fashion. The show was an eye-opener to the students to learn, unlearn and relearn the nuances of creating designs. The event would certainly help students to bring novelty to their works. The event was a resounding success.
