Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony

The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology has conducted MoU signing with Apex Biotechnology Training and Research Institute, Guindy, Chennai on 13.03.2024, Wednesday. The MoU’s were signed and exchanged in presence of Mr. S. Niranjan, Co-Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai, Ramapuram & Trichy. Dr. M. Kamaraj, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Biotechnology, presented the welcome address. He thanked the management for providing us the opportunity to sign MoU with this company. Major. Dr. M. Venkatramanan, Dean (S&H) offered felicitations. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of industrial partnerships in advancing the application of research ideas under joint ventures. Presidential address was given by Mr. S. Niranjan, Co-Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai, Ramapuram & Trichy. According to Sir, the Ministry of Science and Technology and DBT offer biotechnology an abundance of funding opportunities. Our students will have an array of opportunities through of this MOU. The most recent technology will be used by the students to work on real-world projects. Dr. M. Krishnaraj, Director, ABTRI, Guindy, Chennai, stated that students need explore various career opportunities in the industry. Students should be prepared with the most recent and cutting-edge practical experience to deal with the demands of the industrial product development process. Dr. J. Dhilipan, VP-Admin-FSH, Dr. V. Saravanan, VP-Academic-FSH offered felicitation. The formal vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. A.Ancy Jenifer, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, FSH, SRM IST, Chennai.
