Objectives:
• To provide an insight about the learning experiences of the alumni.
• To inform and guide prospective learners in their decision-making.
• To encourage networking opportunities for both alumni and current students.
• To showcase the achievements of notable alumni to inspire and motivate the current students
• To motivate students for the development of their entrepreneurship skills and self-employment and mentor them on various professional careers available.
Introduction
Success story of alumni is an informative session which was organized by the Flaming Falcons , Students Association of Department of Commerce.
Overview
The session commenced by 10:00 am. The event was hosted by Ms.Durisha. Welcome address was delivered by Mr.Charan. Mr. Mannan is an alumni of SRMIST batch 2017-2020, Mr Mannan is a business development manager in TVS and also an entrepreneur. He is a person with excellent communication skills, kind, humble and enthusiastic. He shared his experience and gave an insight for the future. He addressed the gathering on the different career prospects for the students and acquainted
them on the skill sets required from them to get good careers.Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.Gopinath and the guest was felicitated and honored by the members of our Flaming Falcons.
Conclusion
By sharing his success story, alumni has guided prospective learners in their decision-making process. Alumni know the quality and value of their experience with education. The session enabled the students to identify the
skills needed for the different career options available.
