Objective of the Event
To Integrate Freshers into their College life:

The main objective of this program was to provide an overview of the college’s history, mission, values, and culture. To help new students get comfortable in their new environment. It encourages networking and relationship-building among new members.

Synopsis of the Event

  • Event started with Tamil Thai valthu by the students of college of Science and Humanities

Welcome Address

Mrs.Shrestha Verma, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting & Finance(A&F), gave an Introduction about the resource person and read the resource person’s profile.

  • Resource Person’s speech:

Ms.K.S.Nikitha,Alumni of Accounting and finance,began her speech by sharing her experience as an entrepreneur.She shared some ideas on how to start your career as an entrepreneur.She also stated how she converted her drawing hobby into something much more useful.She even gave some tips on how to make use of your college life very effectively.She concluded her speech by Wishing them all the best for their future.

Student Activities:

  • Event 1(Puzzle Quiz):

In this interactive event,a series of questions will be displayed with hints on what letters the answer contains. The team that guesses the most wins.

  • Event 2 (Talentia):

Seniors conducted this event to bring out the bright talents of the freshers.The freshers took turns to express their talents.

Vote of thanks was proposed and the event came to an end with the National Anthem around 12:40 pm.

Outcome:

The event resulted in beginning of building relationships with other students and staffs. Students felt comfortable asking their orientation leaders for help in the future. They learnt the culture and traditions of our college. Students will understand what life is like as a college student. Overall, the event successfully helped the freshers to learn a lot about our college structure and they were motivated to participate in events which improved their courage.
