Script to Screen with Director R.Parthiban

          The Department of Visual Communication and Film Tech, Faculty of Science and Humanities at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus in association with SS Music organised a ‘Script to Screen Show with Director RadhaKrishnan Parthiban’ on July 16th 2024, in the Gallery Hall, 1st Floor, Block 5. The Chief Guest, Director RadhaKrishnan Parthiban was welcomed by our institution’s dignitaries: Dr. C. Sundar, DEAN S&H, Dr. V.Dhilipan VP Admin and Dr. V. Prabakaran, HEAD/Media Studies.

The Director RadhaKrishnan Parthiban addressed the gathering and engaged in an interesting and informative interactive session. His approachable and friendly manner put everyone at ease, creating an atmosphere conducive to learning and open discussion. Throughout the session, Parthiban shared his extensive knowledge and experience in filmmaking, scriptwriting, direction, and more. He discussed the nuances of storytelling, the importance of character development, and the technical aspects of film production. His insights into the collaborative nature of filmmaking highlighted the significance of teamwork and effective communication. The session was not only educational but also inspiring, leaving the audience with a deeper understanding of the art and craft of cinema.

The program was co-convennned by Ms. Yuvarani, Proramme Coordinator, Viscom and Mr. Shanmugananthan, Programme Coordinator, Film Tech. The coordination of the event was overseen by Ms. P. S. Padmavathy and Mr.D. Saravanan, Assistant Professors, Viscom. The event was recorded and later broadcasted on SS Music YouTube Channel..
