The Department of Computer Science and Applications organized an orientation programme for first-year B.Sc. (Cybersecurity) students in association with Purplecube Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and 6F Tech Consultant India Pvt. Ltd. The session focused on enhancing knowledge about security systems, cloud computing, and the importance of cybersecurity in the digital world.

- Syed Shafi, a Security Consultant, delivered an insightful speech on the current trends and challenges in cybersecurity. His talk provided practical tips and strategies for implementing effective security protocols, stressing the importance of continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.
- Varun, a Solution Consultant, provided an engaging speech on the role of cloud computing in modern cybersecurity strategies. He discussed the advantages of integrating cloud solutions for enhanced security, scalability, and efficiency. Varun highlighted real-world case studies where cloud computing successfully mitigated security risks and improved operational workflows. - Basil Tamilselvan, a Cloud Consultant, shared his expertise on the integration of cloud computing with cybersecurity. Tamilselvan emphasized the importance of understanding cloud infrastructure and security features to leverage their full potential.
