| Exploring Entrepreneurship
The event aimed to explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship and product development while being a student. The process of how a simple idea can be transferred in to a product was explained. To Provide Knowledge on Lean Methodology An introduction to lean methodology, a method to initiate and further build on a business model was discussed. Information on government funding “PRISM” for start-up was provided. |

Dr. Ramya Devi, Assistant Professor, BCA Data Science, Innovation Cell Coordinator FSH gave an insight into Entrepreneurship and the related activity being conducted in the Institute’s Innovation Cell.

Technical Session
- A brief introduction to entrepreneurial possibilities for student communities was explained.
- The concept of simple and multi-disciplinary out-of-box thinking and collaboration was introduced to the students.
- A strategic approach to innovate and develop a product with the help of a roadmap was discussed with the students using lean methodology.
- The possibility of government support for start-ups in terms of funding was enlightened.
- PRISM funding was briefly discussed.

Outcome
Students gained insights on how to initiate and start simple when trying to innovate and develop a product. Students learnt the possibility of government support through funding such as PRISM for start-ups. They were provided a roadmap on different steps and strategies to look out for, before and during an entrepreneurial journey.
