MOU SIGNING CEREMONY

WITH

INTI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, MALAYSIA.

The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INTI International Universities and Colleges, Malaysia, on 4th September, 2024, from 1:30 to 2:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. The ceremony was graced by SRM IST dignitaries, including: Dr. N. Sethuraman, Chief Director, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram & Trichy, Dr.K.V.Narayanan, Associate Director, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram, Dr.Abraham Samuel, Assistant Director, International Relations, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram & Trichy, Dr. C. Sundar, Dean (S&H), SRMIST, Ramapuram, Dr. J. Dhilipan, Vice Principal (Admin/S&H), Dr. M. Kamaraj, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, Dr.Suresh S., Assistant Professor (Sr. G), Department of Biotechnology, FSH, SRMIST, Ramapuram. From INTI International University, Malaysia, the dignitaries present were: Dr.Goh Khang Wen, Pro-Vice Chancellor, INTI International University, Malaysia, Dr.K.Kumeresan Krishnasamy, International Relations and Collaborations Centre, INTI International University, Malaysia, The Emcee from INTI International University, Malaysia.

The MoU ceremony began with an opening by the Emcee from INTI International University, Malaysia. Video profiles of both, INTI International University, Malaysia, and the Science and Humanities Department of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram were shown. These videos highlighted each institution’s vision, mission, infrastructure, various labs, Centers, and amenities such as sports facilities etc., The signing of the MoU was conducted by Dr. N. Sethuraman, Chief Director, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram & Trichy, and Dr. Goh Khang Wen, Pro-Vice Chancellor, INTI International University, Malaysia. Following the signing ceremony, the dignitaries shared their remarks, expressing their satisfaction with the event and optimism for future collaborations. These collaborations will focus on research and development, conferences, faculty and student exchange programs, and student abroad programs. The program concluded with a photo session.

The program was convened by Dr.M.Kamaraj, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology, and coordinated by Dr. Suresh S, Assistant Professor and Dr. G. Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology.
