SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
Mr. D. Siva, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, welcomed the participants. In his address he welcomed the resource person who is an illustrious alumnus of SRM IST-FSH, Ramapuram and thanked him for accepting our invitation. In continuation he highlighted about the need for this kind of an event that can motivate students to explore more job opportunities in IT sector. He concluded his address by requesting the participants to make use of this session.
The Resource person Mr. B. Sakthivel, an alumnus of our institution from batch 2019 – 2022 and currently working as a Software Debug Engineer, Zoho, Chennai, started his talk by stressing on the importance of communication skills in IT sector. He highlighted the difference between product-based companies and service-based companies and advised the participants to explore opportunities in product-based companies. He emphasized the importance of coding skills and motivated the participants to become an expert in at least any one of the programming language.

OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM:
The event helped students to get valuable inputs from their senior alumni student regarding placement opportunities and tips and thus in enhancing their technical and aptitude skills which can ultimately improve their placement opportunities.
