SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:

  • The department organized an industrial visit for our I Year MCA and I MCA Gen AI students at Retech Lazers on 09.09.2024.
  • Prabhu welcomed everyone and introduced Retech Lazers.
  • He explained the working process of Plotbot Plus – a multipurpose laser engraver developed and equipped with 40W CO2 laser tube.
  • Features of the Plotbot such as Working Area, Laser Power, Laser Type, Laser Cooling System, Motor type, Power Adjustment, Engraving Speed, Cutting Speed, Voltage, Power SMPS was briefly explained to the students.
  • Demo for making Acrylic Sign Boards, Customized Gifts, Engineering Laser Cut Components for the technical needs, greeting cards for families, or engraving any kind of photos on the wood for decoration was shown.
  • The software tool used for generating information from an image or vector graphics was shown to the students.
  • Transforming images into various forms as per the user requirements was designed in the software.
  • Finally, we extend our gratitude to Retech Lazers for arranging an excellent session and for their hospitality.
