SCRIPT TO SCREEN – A MASTER CLASS WITH MR.VISHNUVARADHAN,FILM MAKER

The School of Media Studies, Department of Visual Communication & Film Technology at SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Ramapuram, in association with SS Music and Rectangle Film Club, organized Script to Screen: A Vishnuvardhan Master Class on 8th January 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Gallery Hall 1, Block V. Renowned filmmaker Mr. Vishnuvardhan, shared his expertise on script development, visual storytelling, and the challenges of directing films based on real-life events.

Convened by Dr. V. Prabakaran, Head of Media Studies, and co-convened by Ms. P. Yuvarani, Programme Coordinator, Viscom, with staff coordinators Ms. P. S. Padmavathy and Ms. Sindhuja Sivaji, the session offered valuable insights into filmmaking elements, character development, and casting. Mr. Vishnuvardhan shared behind-the-scenes experiences from his movies, along with practical techniques and nuances of filmmaking, leaving students inspired and equipped with knowledge to fuel their creative aspirations.
