The Department of Computer Science and Applications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology is organizing a 6-day Virtual Skill Development Programme titled “Empowering Minds with Python Skill Enhancement Workshop” for school students (Classes 11-12) from 23rd to 28th December 2024.
This initiative aims to introduce students to Python programming, computational thinking, and data visualization using Python libraries. The program seeks to foster logical problem-solving skills, spark interest in technology, and equip participants with essential technical abilities critical in today’s digital age.
Key Objectives:
- Build a foundation in Python programming and computational thinking.
- Encourage creative problem-solving using Python for data visualization.
Expected Outcomes:
- Participants will develop logical thinking and coding skills.
- They will gain confidence in applying Python for real-world problem-solving.
This workshop serves as a brand-building initiative for SRM, enhancing its reputation and attracting quality admissions for the next academic year.
