Workshop on Suryasakthi
Dr J Dhilipan, HoD/CSA, VP- Admin (S & H)* Welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of practicing Yoga and its benefits.
Dr S Uma Shankari, Associate Professor/BCA* introduced the resource persons.
Objectives of the Workshop
- Energizing the Body
- Promoting Mental Clarity
- Physical Fitness and Health
- Inner Harmony
Resource Person: Mr. Madhan Prasad, Certified classical Hatha School Yoga Trainer.
- Started the session by doing some preparatory asanas namely Patangasana,shishupalasana, Nadi vibajan
- Stated that suryasakthi will help to control our body.
- Madhan prasad motivated students by demonstrating various asanas and explained benefits of each asanas.
- Students practiced each asanas followed by trainer instructions.
- Learned Various asanas such as Patangasana,Shishupalasana, Nadivibujan, Suryanamaskar etc.,
- Finally Session was opened for Q & A. All queries were clarified effectively. The session was great eye-opener for all the participants.

Day 2:
Dr V Pavithra, Assistant Professor/BCA introduced the resource persons.
