Event Summary: “Education for a Better Tomorrow: Insights from MBA Minds”

On January 24th, 2025, the event “Education for a Better Tomorrow: Insights from MBA Minds” was organized to celebrate International Day of Education. The event took place in Room 202, PG Block, with 90 MBA students participating. The session aimed to highlight the evolving role of education in shaping a better future and was guided by Faculty Coordinators Dr. R. Sharmila Devi and Ms. Kavitha Bagilesh.

The event featured inspiring talks from several talented MBA students, each offering unique perspectives on the importance of education in societal progress. The speakers included:

  • Ms. Lavanya: “Education as a Catalyst for Change,” emphasizing education’s power in driving social transformation.
  • Evangjelin Nivetha K: “Lifelong Learning: A Key to Success,” discussing the importance of continuous learning.
  • Fredrick Bastro: “Importance of Higher Education for Women,” highlighting the role of education in empowering women.
  • Shona Sri: “Sustainability and Education,” connecting education to sustainable practices.
  • Kaviya: “The Future of Education,” offering insights into how education systems can evolve.
  • Nikhil Kumar Singh: “Education on Societal Climate Change,” focusing on education’s role in addressing climate change.

The event was inaugurated by the Head of the Department (HoD), Dr. R. Arulmoli, and the session was smoothly compered by Sujith D, who also delivered the closing remarks and vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants.

The students’ consolidated feedback highlighted that the session provided valuable insights into the power of education in shaping a better future. Participants appreciated the diverse perspectives shared and engaged in thoughtful discussions about how education can address global challenges and contribute to societal transformation.
