SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Fabric Painting Dyeing and Printing Workshop was conducted on 18th September 2024 at Block -7, BMS Block, Sewing Lab with the aim of providing participants with a hands-on experience in this intricate and advanced beautiful form of Painting and Printing techniques. The workshop was attended by II Year B.Sc Students.
Workshop Highlights:
- Fabric Painting ,Dyeing and Printing : Participants were introduced to the advance techniques used in Fabric Painting ,Dyeing and Printing including the Layering ,Blending,Resist,Discharge,Stamping,Salt Sprinlking,Stencil,Steppling,Ombre,Shibori,Spray Mixer Media,Spletters,Ragging etc…..
- Participants learned how to create their, various Fabric painting Techniques focusing on both floral designs and some dyeing Printing patterns.
- Project Demonstration: The Resource person demonstrated a complex Fabric Painting project, showcasing the intricate details and techniques involved. During the practical session, attendees were divided into groups of three. Each group had 15 minutes to demonstrate the painting allowing participants to apply the skills.
- Hands-On Practice: Participants had ample opportunity to practice Fabric Painting,Dyeing,and Printing under the guidance of the Resources Person
- Feedback and Evaluation: Participants provided feedback on the workshop, sharing their experiences and suggestions for improvement.
