SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Webinar on Boutique Management, organised collaboratively by the Faculty of Science and Humanities and the Department of Fashion Designing, aimed to develop entrepreneurship skill and manage boutique. The event was crafted to resonate with the core values of knowledge and skill to manage boutique, particularly in the design field, in which the student should be capable of recollecting their ideas through the experience shared by the resource person.
The primary goal of the webinar on “Boutique Management” The Ideology of this event is to build and strengthen knowledge and skills to manage business in the fashion industry.
Networking Session:
A panel presented featuring the methods and tricks of Boutique Management from various keynote. The Resource Person explained various methods to get into entrepreneurship from her experience, she delivered useful points and important tactics on handling boutiques and challenges faced in the work environment. She delivered how to deal with customers, Fabric sourcing, cost management, labour handling and garment pricing. The session was very useful and interactive, with many students sharing their doubts and taking key points from their expertise.
Feedback Session:
A feedback session was conducted, allowing the participants to voice their opinions and suggestions about the overall Webinar. The participants were very satisfied and gained skills and knowledge in Boutique Management at the end of the Event. They shared their valuable Feedback.
Interactive Sessions:
A dedicated networking session allowed students to engage in one-on-one conversations with the Resource Person. The Resource Person shared the importance of Boutique Management in Fashion Industry for a career. Many students found the session valuable for gaining deep knowledge.

Collaborate on initiatives (or create) within the community that look to tackle poverty locally.
SDG 4 (Quality Education),
Equal Access to Technical and Vocational Training: Ensure equal access for all women and men to affordable and quality technical, vocational, and tertiary education, including university.
Skills for Employment and Entrepreneurship: Substantially increase the number of youth and adults with relevant skills for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
Eliminate Gender Disparities in Education: Achieve gender equality and equal access to education for vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and children in vulnerable situations.
Universal Literacy and Numeracy: Ensure that all youth and a substantial proportion of adults achieve literacy and numeracy.
SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth),
Focuses on promoting sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. It emphasizes creating opportunities for everyone, ensuring fair treatment at work, and supporting economic development that benefits society as a whole. High levels of unemployment and underemployment, particularly among youth. Exploitative labor practices, including child labor and unsafe working conditions. Economic inequalities are exacerbated by global crises like pandemics or climate change. Limited access to credit and financial services in developing regions. Lack of adequate policies to promote inclusive growth and decent work.
SDG 9( Industry Innovation and Infrastructure)aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation. This goal recognizes that investments in infrastructure and innovation are crucial drivers of economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability.SDG 9 is vital for creating the foundation for sustainable economic growth, fostering technological progress, and addressing challenges like climate change. By investing in infrastructure, supporting innovation, and promoting industrialization, societies can build a more inclusive and resilient future.
