OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT:

  • To provide an overview of the American Center, its mission, and its role in promoting and education.
  • To highlight the various resources offered, including books, digital databases, educational materials, and media collections.
  • To guide participants on how to access online learning platforms.
  • To explain how individuals can become members.
  • To offer a guided tour or demonstration of resources and interactive activities to ensure attendees can effectively utilize the services available.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Sabitha, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, followed by the introduction of the Resource Persons. Insights shared by Mrs. Usha Alagappan, Program Assistant (Research and Outreach), American Center, and by Mr. K. Rishi Kumar, Program Associate, American Center. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks.

TECHNICAL SESSION

The event “Exploring American Center Resources and Services” provided an insightful overview of the various tools, programs, and opportunities available at the American Center. Attendees learned about free access to a wide range of resources, including books, digital databases, and research materials. The session highlighted educational programs, cultural exchange initiatives, and professional development workshops. Experts guided participants on how to utilize the center for academic growth, career advancement, and networking. Interactive discussions showcased membership benefits and special events. Demonstrations on e-learning platforms and technology resources were also conducted. The event emphasized the role of the American Center in fostering learning, innovation, and cross-cultural connections.
