The objective of the Event

Synopsis of the Event
- The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Samuel Abhram, Assistant Director, IR.
- This was followed by a special address by Dr. R. Shivakumar, Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai Ramapuram, and Trichy. In his address, Dr. Shivakumar emphasized the mutual exchange of expertise between the two universities in the fields of research and development for societal needs. He also highlighted the potential for student and faculty mobilities and other fruitful collaborations for meaningful deliberations.
- The felicitation address was delivered by Dr. C. Sundar, Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRMIST, Chennai Ramapuram, who elaborated on the strengths of the Biotechnology department and the various avenues for collaboration within the
- This was followed by a special address from Dr. Dafik, Dean, Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences, University of Jember, Indonesia, who expressed enthusiasm for collaborative R&D efforts, joint research funding, and dynamic activities such as conferences, workshops, and academic exchange programs.
- After the formal addresses, the MoU was officially signed by both authorities, marking the beginning of a strong academic and research partnership. A commemorative photo session followed the signing.
- The event concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Kamaraj, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRMIST, Chennai Ramapuram.
