The School of Media Studies, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Visual Communication & Film Technology, SRM IST Ramapuram, in collaboration with Kalaignar TV, organized a Music Screening & Appreciation session for the film Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam on February 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM in TRP Auditorium. The event featured an engaging discussion about the film’s music, direction, and overall creative vision. The guests actively participated in mimicry, dance performances, and song renditions, showcasing their talent and providing an entertaining experience for the audience. They also demonstrated imitations of various characters, adding to the interactive nature of the event.
In addition to the performances, the film’s team engaged in an insightful conversation with students, discussing behind-the-scenes aspects, the film’s stylistic themes, characterization, and promotional strategies. This interaction allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of Director Dhanush’s filmmaking techniques and the creative decisions that shaped the movie. The event was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Convenor Dr. V. Prabakaran, Co-Convenor Ms. P. Yuvarani, and Staff Coordinators Mrs. Aparna Sudheendran and Mr. Gowtham Krishna P.K.R, making it an enriching and memorable experience for all attendees.
