Dr. J. Antony Jerald Anand, PhD. Dr. Jerald is a distinguished psychologist, leadership expert, and organizational development consultant, with an impressive 23+ years of experience in the field of human capital and workplace culture. He is the Founder and CEO of Minds Groups, a premier consultancy firm dedicated to performance excellence, competency mapping, leadership development, and behavioral training. His expertise extends across multiple domains, including assessment and development centers, psychometric analysis, NLP coaching, and business transformation. Throughout his career, Dr. Jerald has collaborated with leading corporate houses, mapping and identifying managerial competencies across 20 major cities in India, conducting over 400 personal interviews, and developing tailored assessment modules to enhance employee skills and capabilities. His passion lies in understanding business environments and crafting customized interventions to drive organizational success. Apart from being a sought-after corporate trainer and consultant, Dr. Jerald is also a certified behavioral and soft skills trainer, an accredited CXO leadership coach, and a certified HR analytics and competency metrics professional. Importance of the event: Importance of the event was given by Dr.J.Sabitha, Associate Professor, department of commerce. She elaborated that Global entrepreneurship provides a platform for aspiring students to learn, network, and develop new ideas. It encourages the students to take risks and create innovative solutions to entrepreneurship challenges. Seminars sessions during Global entrepreneurship week help individuals develop essential business skills, from idea generation to scaling a company.

ED Bazaar –Ceremonial opening
The Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Bazaar was inaugurated with a grand ceremonial opening by the guest of the day Dr. Antony Jerald Anand, marking a significant milestone in fostering student entrepreneurship. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students who set up 34 innovative stalls, showcasing a diverse range of products and services. The initiative provided a platform for young entrepreneurs to hone their business skills, interact with customers, and gain real-world experience in sales and marketing.
Dr. Anand, as the esteemed guest, not only encouraged the young entrepreneurs but also provided valuable suggestions and feedback on their ventures. His expert judgment added immense value to the event, inspiring students to refine their business strategies and enhance their entrepreneurial skills. The ED Bazaar was a great success, fostering creativity, innovation, and a spirit of enterprise among the participants.

Entrepreneurship Quiz Competition:
- Round 1 (Guess the Entrepreneur): Teams identified entrepreneurs from pictures. No external help allowed. Out of 41 teams, 11 advanced to Round 2. Others received e-certificates.
- Round 2 (Who Am I?): Clues were displayed, and teams answered by blowing a whistle. Correct answers earned points. The top 6 teams moved to Round 3.
- Round 3 (Quiz): Selected teams answered multiple-choice questions. Points were awarded for correct answers. The team with the highest points was declared the winner.
Winners and runners-up were selected based on total scores.

Welcome address
Mr.Harish Ragavendar G of 2nd B.Com (ISM) delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting all attendees and welcoming the chief guest of the event. In his concluding remarks, he highlighted the importance of the Poster presentation event, emphasizing its role as a vital source of additional learning that enhances students’ knowledge and provides them with valuable opportunities for skill development.
Chief Guest introduction
Ms. Nisha Srikanth, an accomplished entrepreneur, transitioned from a successful IT career to become a leading figure in traditional doll-making. In 2016, she founded Sri Kolhapuri – The Doll Factory, driven by her passion for preserving the art of handcrafted cloth and fiber dolls. Her venture not only celebrates Indian cultural heritage but also empowers women by providing them with hands-on employment opportunities. Under her leadership, the enterprise has expanded from a solo endeavor to a robust team, earning recognition such as a Guinness World Record in 2019 for traditional handmade fabric dolls. Ms. Srikanth’s vision extends to nurturing entrepreneurship among women, with a goal to create 10,000 women entrepreneurs by the end of 2025.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The Poster Presentation on Women Entrepreneurship as part of Entrepreneurship Development Week, is a platform dedicated to recognizing and promoting the pivotal role of women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This event brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and industry experts to explore innovative business ideas, inspiring success stories, and the challenges faced by women in business. Through visually compelling and research-driven posters, our club members present their insights on various aspects of women entrepreneurship, including leadership strategies, financial independence, social impact, and overcoming gender biases in business.
The poster presentation event on Women Entrepreneurship was a remarkable showcase of innovation and determination, featuring 23 participants, each bringing unique ideas and insights. Held in an engaging and interactive setting, the event provided a platform for aspiring and established women entrepreneurs to present their research, business models, and success stories. Each participant passionately explained their posters, highlighting key aspects such as market strategies, challenges faced by women in business, and innovative solutions to overcome them. The audience, which included industry professionals, academicians, and fellow entrepreneurs, engaged in thoughtful discussions, making the event a vibrant exchange of knowledge and inspiration. The event successfully emphasized the role of women in driving economic growth and encouraged more women to step into the entrepreneurial world.
