Summary of the program:
The Quest 2025 – Talent Hunt: The Spotlight Search event, held on 27th February 2025 at the TRP Auditorium, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, offered a dynamic platform for students to showcase their diverse talents. The event featured 17 teams from various colleges, each delivering unique performances across a wide range of artistic disciplines, including dance, music, stand-up comedy, mimicry, and more. The primary objective was to foster creativity and self-expression while providing students an opportunity to gain confidence and refine their performance skills in front of a live audience.
The event was hosted by Ms. Divya Dharshini, V an MBA first-year student, who set an engaging tone for the evening. The energy in the auditorium was palpable as the students eagerly participated in the competition. The performances were vibrant and filled with originality, with each act showcasing the passion and creativity of the participants. The audience, consisting of faculty and fellow students, cheered on the performers, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and excitement.
The panel of judges, including Krishant (Cine Choreographer) and Ms. Swetha (Founder, Bossy Boutique), provided valuable feedback to the participants, further motivating them to enhance their skills. Their insights helped elevate the overall quality of the performances, making the event even more memorable.
After a day full of stunning acts, the competition concluded with Loyola Dream Team winning first place, Pramika from Ethiraj College for Women securing the runner-up position, and Lift Up Crew from DG Vaishnav College taking third place. These teams were praised for their creativity, execution, and the energy they brought to the stage, standing out among the talented pool of participants.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the management, Dean Dr. C. Sundar, HOD Dr. R. Arulmoli, and all faculty and student volunteers for their unwavering support in making the event a success. Their dedication to fostering creativity and providing students with the opportunity to shine is deeply appreciated. A special thanks goes to the judges for their time, feedback, and encouragement. The Quest 2025 – Talent Hunt event was a celebration of creativity, confidence, and collaboration, and it provided a valuable experience for all participants and attendees.
