Sangeetha Balu is a Chief Manager at Cholamandalam MS Risk Services Limited (CMSRS). She has extensive experience in the field of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), with over 19 years of learning and working experience. Her area of expertise includes process safety management, behaviour-based safety, process safety competency. Sangeetha Balu is passionate about her role and actively engages in promoting the core values of Chola MS Risk Services, which emphasize celebrating roots and honoring values within the organization.

Department of Biotechnology SRMIST, FSH, Ramapuram, Chennai in association with Department of Biotechnology SRMIST, FET, Ramapuram, Chennai organised an Industry Expert talk on “Safety Awareness for Laboratories” on 04.03.2025 celebrating the 54th National Safety Day between 9.00am-10.30am. The resource person Mrs.Sangeetha Balu, Chief Manager, Risk Services, Chola MS enlightened the students on different type of hazards and the preliminary Safety measures to be adhered in the laboratory to prevent accidents. While interacting with the students in the laboratories she always insisted on compliance of safety as the theme for this year’s national safety rightly emphasizes on “Safety & Well-being for Vikshit Bharat” i.e., the importance of safety across all domains for progressing as a country
