The Fabric Painting Competition, organized by the Faculty of Science and Humanities (FSH) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, in collaboration with the Department of English and Other Foreign Languages, along with the Journal Club and Quiz Club, is a celebration of creativity and patriotism.
The competition is scheduled for 24th January 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Block V, Room No. 402 and is themed around Republic Day, encouraging participants to express their artistic vision inspired by India’s national pride and cultural values.
Participants will have 40 minutes to complete their original artwork on fabric, strictly adhering to the announced theme. They are required to bring their own supplies, including fabric, paints, brushes, and other necessary materials. The emphasis on originality ensures a fair competition where students can showcase their creative skills.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event fosters innovation, cultural appreciation, and quality education while promoting patriotism. This activity also highlights SRM’s reputation as an institution committed to holistic student development and academic excellence.
The competition offers students an engaging platform to demonstrate their artistic talent while honoring the spirit of Republic Day. The event was Headed by Dr.Sridevi.T/ HoD- EFL, coordinated by Dr. Nathiya.M / Journal Club Coordinator & Dr.Agalya VT Raj / Quiz Club Coordinator.
