- The Department of English & Other Foreign Languages organized an INDUSTRY EXPERT TALK for I B.A. English students on 10th July 2025
- The session was conducted in Block V, Room No. 400, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- “An expert talk on the title ‘Bridging the Academic Learning Gap: Career Opportunities for English Graduates’ was delivered by Mr. Arul Selvam P., Regional Sales Manager at Orient Black Swan Pvt. Ltd.
- He emphasized the diverse career opportunities available in publishing, content development, and the corporate sector.
- The session witnessed active student participation, with enthusiastic responses to the interactive segments and discussions.
- The expert talk underscored the value of interdisciplinary learning and actively encouraged the development of critical thinking skills among the participants.
- “The expert talk also aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)—by promoting inclusive education, fostering industry-relevant skill development, and empowering students with equitable access to career opportunities.”
