To provide insights and orientation to current students on diverse career opportunities in the fashion industry through interactions with successful alumni working in various domains.
Event Highlights:
Welcome Address:
The event began at 2:00 PM with a warm welcome speech by the department HOD Dr.V.Bhanu Rekha Associate professor expressed gratitude to the alumni and the importance of alumni engagement and their role in shaping the future of the institution was emphasized.
The event featured alumni from the Department of Fashion Designing who have made significant strides in various sectors of the fashion industry. Each speaker shared their professional journey, experiences, challenges, and tips for excelling in specific fashion domains such as styling, costume designing, merchandising, modeling, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship.

Outcome:
The session was highly interactive and informative. Students appreciated the real-life experiences shared by alumni and felt inspired to pursue their passion with a clearer understanding of industry expectations.
Interactive Alumni Feedback Session:
A feedback session was conducted, allowing alumni to voice their opinions and suggestions for improving the alumni network and their engagement with the institution. Several innovative ideas were proposed, including mentorship programs, career development workshops, and more frequent alumni events.

Use the meet as a platform to launch or promote mentorship initiatives where alumni offer guidance and support to current students. This could include career advice, skill-building workshops, or guidance on academic growth.

One of the primary purposes of an alumni meet is to facilitate networking and career development. Create opportunities for alumni to interact with current students and share insights into their careers. Organize workshops on job readiness, skill-building, and entrepreneurship, focusing on key skills for future employment.

Encourage alumni to engage in local or global volunteer work that supports the development of resilient communities. This could involve organizing alumni volunteer days where attendees contribute to local community projects, environmental clean-ups, or other initiatives that improve the livability of urban spaces
