SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
A virtual expert talk was organized for students and research scholars on 31th July 2025. Dr. R.S. Suresh Kumar, Associate Professor, Toxicology, Arab Minch University, Ethiopia delivered a talk was on title “Insights into conventional and contemporary methods in toxicology testing on new drugs”. The objective of the session was to educate the students and research scholars on various toxicology testing methods for new chemical entities, which is developed in the laboratory through wet lab and dry lab virtual screening methodologies. What are the criteria and the methodologies should be followed to develop the new chemical entity as a new drug, various online tools available to check the toxicological properties of the drug.
