The Faculty of Science and Humanities, School of Media Studies, Department of Visual Communication, SRMIST organized a Guest Lecture titled “From Paper to Practice: Shaping Governance through Constitutional Values” on 30th July 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Classroom 602, 6th Floor, PG Dental Block. The session was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. I. Arul Aram, Special Journalist at The Hindu, as the Chief Guest. He shared deep insights into the Indian Constitution and related legal frameworks, simplifying key concepts and values for better student understanding. The lecture also included an interactive segment where students actively engaged with the guest, asking questions and clarifying doubts. Dr. Arul Aram emphasized crucial points and memory techniques to help students retain key constitutional terms and ideas effectively. The session provided a strong foundation in understanding the relevance of constitutional values in governance today. The session was coordinated under the guidance of Convenor Dr. V. Prabakaran (Head, Media Studies), Co-Convenor Ms. P. Yuvarani (Programme Coordinator, Viscom) and Staff Coordinator Dr.Akash J.H {Asst. Professor , Viscom).
