SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The “Analytics for Business: Data Science Kickstart Quiz” was conducted as one of the TechZee Quiz Club activities for B. Com Accounting and Finance students. The event was organized by the Department of Data Science to enhance students’ knowledge, quick-thinking ability, and application skills in business and accounting concepts.
The quiz featured multiple rounds including General Awareness, Accounting & Finance Basics, Data- Driven Business Insights, and a Rapid-Fire Round to test the analytical and problem-solving abilities of the participants.
The session began with a welcome address by the Event Coordinators, Dr. V. Sowmya and Mrs. S. Revathi, Assistant Professors, Data Science. Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi, Program Coordinator, Data Science, delivered the felicitation, highlighting the importance of quizzes in building confidence and encouraging active learning.
Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their team spirit and critical thinking. The event created a lively and competitive atmosphere, motivating students to integrate classroom knowledge with real-world applications.
The program concluded with the announcement of winners and a vote of thanks by the Event Coordinators
