Profile of the Speaker(s):
Mr. Dilli Ganesh is a UX/UI Designer at Approtech R&D Solutions Pvt Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication and has experience in UX research and collaborative leadership. He focuses on creating innovative and user-friendly solutions by leveraging design and technology. He has worked on multiple impactful projects, ensuring they align with user needs and business goals.
Ms. M. Petsi is a software developer in Approtech R & D Solutions Pvt Ltd. She is working in the same company for few years. She focuses on identifying fruitful solutions for a critical problem.
Ms. M. Inpan is an Embedded developer in Approtech R & D Solutions Pvt Ltd. She is a having experience in developing the software applications which is embedded with IoT devices.
Summary of the Event:
As part of the Faculty Industry Immersion Program, our faculty team recently visited Approtech R & D Solutions, Chennai, to explore recent trends and developments in the field of Machine Learning.
During the visit, we had fruitful discussions which comprises following points:
Introduction about Approtech profile, domain and staff members.
- Resource Person stated about the importance of machine learning
- They discussed with us to provide opportunities to do Internship, Project Work and Students Training on specific domain
- Mr. Dilli Ganesh highlighted the domain in which Approtech is working
- Real-time applications has been explained by Ms. Petsi, Software Developer
- Functionality of an IoT device has been explained by Ms. Inpan, Embedded Developer
- Also, we discussed the opportunity on consultancy work
The visit enhances and enlightens our faculty knowledge on machine learning that will help us to align our academic efforts with industry needs and guide our students effectively.
OUTCOME OF THE EVENT BASED ON SDG:
The Faculty Industry Immersion Program event achieved remarkable outcomes, directly supporting multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
SDG 4 (Quality Education): The event enhances the faculty knowledge in machine learning real- time applications. Also, the faculty enriched their skill in internet of things. The FIIP enlightens the attendees knowledge in specific domain, empowering them to make informed decisions and educate others within their communities.
SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure): The program gives knowledge on the software industry and its working nature in a particular domain. Also, FIIP provides valuable insights in development of innovative products.
SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): The event establishes a good partnerships with the company and makes to achieve certain goals.
