SUMMARY OF THE EVENT
The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized a Guest Lecture on “Modern Auditing: Tools, Techniques and Tactics” on 24th September 2025 at the East Block Room No: 112. The session was conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
The distinguished speaker was CA. R. Parasuraman, Chartered Accountant, R Parasuraman and Associates, Chennai, who shared his professional expertise and practical insights on the evolving landscape of auditing.
The primary objective of the session was to expose students to modern approaches in auditing by focusing on tools, technology integration, compliance mechanisms, and advanced techniques that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in financial reporting. The lecture aligned with the department’s vision to impart knowledge that connects academic concepts with contemporary professional practices.
