SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Faculty of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized an inspiring Alumni Guest Talk on 31st July 2025 in Hall No. 202, PG Block from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The session was graced by Ms. KS. Akshaya Priya, Analyst at BNY Mellon and a proud alumna of the MBA 2023–2025 batch.
The session titled “Navigating Your First Steps with Confidence” was specifically designed to inspire and guide the newly joined MBA students. Ms. Akshaya Priya shared her real-life experiences of transitioning from classroom learning to the corporate world. She emphasized the importance of mindset, adaptability, and continuous learning in shaping one’s early career.
One of the highlights of the session was her detailed narration of the internship and placement process at BNY Mellon. She provided practical insights on resume building, interview preparation, communication, and confidence – all of which are critical to success in corporate settings.
The talk was interactive and well-received by the audience. Students felt deeply connected to her story and appreciated the relatable, honest, and motivating delivery. The event fostered a sense of direction and optimism among the participants.
This session served as an excellent platform to strengthen alumni-student interaction and bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
