Summary:

Mrs. T. Kanimozhi addressed the girl students on Women’s Safety: Current Challenges, Implications, and Preventive Measures. She highlighted issues such as gender-based violence (domestic, sexual, trafficking), unsafe public spaces, and societal norms that perpetuate discrimination and victim-blaming. Preventive measures for cyber harassment were shared, along with important state and national helpline numbers for emergency support. The session concluded with a discussion where students raised their own concerns and experiences from society.
