SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Faculty of Management, SRMIST Ramapuram, organized a Career Guidance Program on 27th June 2025 at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Guduvanchery. The session was led by Assistant Professors Mrs. Anandhi S and Dr. Manimegalai D. Mrs. Anandhi introduced the concept of Design Thinking and shared real-life inspirations to motivate the students, while Dr. Manimegalai emphasized the importance of career planning after +2 and guided students to make informed decisions. The students received hands-on support in creating ABC IDs through DigiLocker and were provided with clear instructions on the TNEA Engineering Counseling and Admission process. The session also covered information on Central and State Government Scholarships, and introduced students to various Government job opportunities such as TNPSC, SSC, UPSC, and RRB. Additionally, the resource persons provided detailed insights into career opportunities in the field of Computer Science, highlighting in-demand skills like programming and creativity, educational pathways including certificate, diploma, and UG degree programs, top recruiters, trending job profiles, and emerging tech domains such as AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Web Design. The session was highly interactive and well-received, with enthusiastic student participation and valuable discussions. We sincerely thank our Dean Dr. C. Sundar, Dr. T.
