OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM: (Based of SDG)

  • SDG 3 – Good Health and Well Being: The Program starts from teaching youth about managing pocket money, savings, and investment portfolios can foster early financial literacy. This empowers young people to build a foundation for both financial security and good health outcomes later in life by reducing vulnerabilities tied to poverty, debt, or lack of access to health services.
  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: A “pocket money to portfolio” program directly aligns with SDG 4 by integrating financial literacy into education, empowering young learners to manage personal finances and build critical life skills. SDG 4 specifically calls for education that increases the number of youth and adults with relevant skills, including financial literacy, so that learners are equipped for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
  • SDG 8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all: The Program provides a framework that directly aligns with educational programs transitioning young individuals from basic financial habits (“pocket money”) to long-term financial management and investment (“portfolio”) practices.
  • SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: The program focuses on teaching personal finance and investment strategies that contribute to the sustainability of local communities and urban environments.
