Makeover and self-grooming are not just cosmetic enhancements for fashion designers—they are essential components of professional identity, personal branding, and credibility in the fashion industry.

The Department of Fashion Designing successfully organized an insightful event titled “Makeup with Naturals – Personal and Professional Makeup” on 16th July 2025.

The session focused on educating students about natural, skin-friendly makeup practices.

Sujathasri, a professional makeup artist and a senior trainer from Naturals Beauty academy, conducted a live demo showcasing techniques using organic and non-toxic products, emphasizing clean beauty for everyday and professional use.

Students were actively engaged throughout the session, participating in live Q&A and observing demonstrations that highlighted sustainable and health-conscious alternatives in the beauty industry. The workshop emphasized the relevance of eco-friendly practices in line with today’s wellness-oriented fashion and beauty trends.

The event received an overwhelmingly positive response from the participants, who appreciated the clarity of instruction, hands-on approach, and focus on natural products. Overall, it proved to be an educational and inspiring experience, blending aesthetics with sustainability, and promoting conscious choices in beauty and self-presentation.
