The School of Media Studies, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), Ramapuram, organized the NDA Signing Ceremony with Basilic Fly Studio on 6th August 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conference Hall, 8th Floor, PG Dental Block – II. The event marked a significant step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration, aimed at creating promising opportunities for students in the field of media and communication. Mr. Zameer Hussain, Chief Operating Officer & Global EVP of Basilic Fly Studio, graced the event as the Chief Guest and shared his inspiring vision, emphasizing the importance of real-world exposure and creative training through strong institutional partnerships. The collaboration is expected to facilitate internships, hands-on training, and professional exposure to global media practices for students. The event was held in the esteemed presence of Dr. R. Shivakumar, Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy), whose leadership continues to drive academic excellence and industry engagement. Key attendees included the Dean and Vice Principal (Admin) of the Faculty of Science and Humanities, Dean (Academics and Educational Initiatives) of SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy), Professor and Head of the School of Media Studies, Programme Coordinators of Visual Communication, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Film Technology, the MOU Coordinator, and the Heads of various departments under the Faculty of Science and Humanities at SRM IST, Ramapuram.
