Event Summary
The Department of Cyber Security, in association with the IDEA STACK CLUB, successfully organized a Bug Fixing and Debugging Competition as part of Code-O-Fest 2025 – Tech & Talent Extravaganza. The event aimed to strengthen students’ programming proficiency by enhancing their ability to identify, analyze, and resolve errors in code.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the All B.Sc. Cyber Security programs. Participants were challenged with carefully designed programs containing logical and runtime errors, encouraging them to apply analytical thinking and systematic debugging approaches. The event was conducted in multiple rounds, including a technical quiz and hands-on debugging tasks, which created a dynamic and competitive learning environment.
Throughout the event, students demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and coding efficiency. The competition promoted collaborative learning, attention to detail, and real-time decision-making, making it an engaging and skill-oriented experience for all participants.
Outcome
The Bug Fixing and Debugging Competition proved to be an effective and enriching learning experience.
