Inaugural Ceremony

Dr. R. Seranmadevi is an Associate Professor at Christ University, Bangalore. She holds a Ph.D. from Anna University and has extensive expertise in commerce, management, digital transformation, and analytics. With numerous Scopus and Web of Science publications, she has served as a resource person and FDP coordinator in many national forums. Her work strongly focuses on technology-driven social and economic empowerment.

Mrs. Rajeshwari Ilango is the Managing Trustee of RUDIRs Educational & Charitable Trust and the President of MIMMNA, MSME Chennai. She is a committed social leader and educationist with extensive experience in entrepreneurship development and women empowerment initiatives. She has actively worked with MSMEs and community-based organizations to promote inclusive growth. Her contributions focus on social transformation through education, leadership, and grassroots development.

 

Valedictory Ceremony

Dr. P. B. Shankar Narayanan is Professor and Head, Department of Social Work, Pondicherry University. He holds a Ph.D. from Pondicherry University with expertise in human resource management, labour laws, disaster management, and human rights. He has extensive experience with NGOs, INGOs, and academic institutions. He has guided several Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars and published widely in reputed journals.

C.A. Dr. R. Madhumitha is a Chartered Accountant and Vice President, SIRC, Chengalpattu. With over 10 years of professional experience, she specializes in statutory audits, GST, income tax compliance, and MSME advisory services. She actively mentors CA students and conducts professional training programs. She is also involved in social service initiatives through professional associations.

 

Technical Session Cairperson Details

 

Track 1 – Digital Empowerment

Track 2 – Sustainable Livelihoods

Dr. S. Maheshkannan is an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. His academic interests include sustainable livelihoods, rural development, and social welfare. He actively contributes to teaching, research, and community-oriented academic initiatives. He regularly participates in conferences addressing grassroots development and sustainability.

 

Track 3 – Health Advocacy

Dr. S. Sivarajani is an Associate Professor at the Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. With over 19 years of academic experience, she specializes in human resource development, health advocacy, and social work education. She has held key administrative roles including Head of the Department and Controller of Examinations. Her work integrates academic research with social impact initiatives.

 

Track 4 – Environmental Stewardship

Dr. S. Renganathan is a senior academician from the Department of Biotechnology, A.C. Tech Campus, Anna University, Chennai. He is a highly cited researcher with extensive publications, patents, and funded research projects. His expertise lies in environmental biotechnology, sustainable energy, and green technologies. He has guided numerous Ph.D. scholars and delivered invited talks nationally and internationally.

 

Track 5 – Leadership Development through NEP 2020

Dr. V. Andal is Associate Professor and Head, Department of Commerce (Professional Accounting) at Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and has significant experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She has published in reputed journals and actively contributes to curriculum development and institutional governance. Her focus includes leadership development and educational reforms under NEP 2020.

 

Inaugural Ceremony

The Inaugural Session will begin with the Welcome Address by Dr. J. Sabita, Associate Professor, welcoming the dignitaries, resource persons, and participants and outlining the objectives of the programme. This will be followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. S. Tirumaan, Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), highlighting the academic relevance and societal importance of the conference. The Chief Guest, Dr. R. Seranmadevi, will be introduced by Mr. I. Enock, emphasizing her scholarly achievements and research contributions, followed by the Felicitation Address by Dr. S. Puzatendi, Vice Principal, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRMIST. The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Rajeshwari Ilango, will be introduced by Dr. N. Nimosini, highlighting her contributions to social entrepreneurship and women empowerment. The session will conclude with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Amrin, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, and participants for their valuable support and presence.

 

Technical Session

The Technical Sessions of the Conference will be conducted over two days. On 29.01.2025, Track 1 on “Digital Empowerment” will be handled by Dr. R. Seranmadevi at Gallery Hall 3 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., followed by Track 2 on “Sustainable Livelihoods” by Dr. S. Maheshkannan at Lab 3 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. Track 3 on “Health Advocacy” will be delivered by Dr. S. Sivarajani at Gallery Hall 3 from 12.00 noon to 1.00 p.m. On 30.01.2026, the sessions will continue with Track 4 on “Environmental Stewardship” by Dr. S. Renganathan at Lab 3 from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., followed by Track 5 on “Leadership Development through NEP 2020” by Dr. S. Andal at Lab 3 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., concluding the technical deliberations of the conference.

 

Valedictory Ceremony

The Valedictory Ceremony will commence with the Welcome Address by the MC Team, followed by a brief presentation About the Conference by Dr. K. Murugan, highlighting the outcomes and key deliberations of the programme. The session will then feature the Felicitation Address by the Vice President – Academics, Dr. S. Puzatendi, and Dr. S. Tirumaan, Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRMIST. The Chief Guest Address will be delivered by Dr. P. B. Shankar Narayanan, sharing valuable insights and reflections, followed by the Guest of Honour Address by C.A. Dr. Madhumitha, emphasizing professional and academic perspectives. The ceremony will conclude with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. J. Sathish Kumar and the programme will end with the National Anthem.
