Event Highlights

  • The visit was organised with the objective of fostering a strong reading culture and providing students with experiential exposure to a wide range of literary works, academic texts, contemporary publications, and regional and global literature.
  • Students explored various stalls featuring fiction, non-fiction, research-oriented books, translated works, children’s literature, and publications from leading national and international publishers.
  • The visit enabled students to engage meaningfully with books beyond classroom texts, understand current trends in publishing, and appreciate the diversity of literary expressions. Faculty members guided students in identifying relevant academic resources and encouraged reflective reading and discussion during the visit.
  • Overall, the educational visit proved to be intellectually stimulating and enriching, reinforcing the importance of books as tools for lifelong learning and critical inquiry.

Key Outcomes:

  1. Students were exposed to a broad spectrum of literary genres, authors, and publishing practices.
  2. The visit strengthened reading habits and promoted independent and critical reading.
