- The Department of Language, Culture & Society, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai Ramapuram, successfully organized a Brand Building & Career Counselling Programme titled “Empowering Young Minds for Future Careers” on 30th January 2026 from 01.00 PM to 04.00 PM at Porur Girls Higher Secondary School.
- The programme was conducted by the Resource Persons, Dr. Nathiya. M and Dr. A. Kavitha Rani, Assistant Professors, Department of Language, Culture & Society (LCS), SRMIST.
- The session aimed at creating career awareness among higher secondary school students, providing guidance on higher education opportunities, and emphasizing the importance of personal brand building and skill development for future career success.
- The resource persons interacted with students through engaging discussions, highlighting the relevance of communication skills, confidence building, goal setting, and informed decision-making in shaping successful academic and professional journeys.
- The programme also offered students valuable institutional exposure, introducing them to diverse career pathways and the role of higher education in achieving long-term aspirations.
The session was highly interactive and informative, enabling students to clarify their career-related queries and motivating them to plan their future with clarity and confidence.
