TECBLAZE – 2026
The TECBLAZE – 2026 One Day International Technical symposium for college students was conducted The PG Department of Computer Applications, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, successfully organized TECBLAZE-2K26, a One Day International Technical Symposium, on 19 February 2026 at the TRP Auditorium.
With the enthusiastic participation of 280 UG & PG students from 45 colleges, the symposium emerged as a vibrant platform fostering innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative learning.
Inaugural Session
The programme commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony.
Welcome Address
The Head of the department Dr. R. Agusthiyar, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, industry experts, faculty members, and student participants, emphasizing the importance of technical symposia in bridging academia and industry.
About the tecblaze
Mrs.M.Divya, Assistant Professor, explained that the symposium was organized to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, enhance their technical skills, and stay updated with current industry trends. The various events such as workshops, coding competitions, project presentations, data analytics, web design, quiz competitions, and digital imaging were briefly introduced by her.
Felicitation Address
The felicitation address was delivered by Dr. J. Dhilipan, Vice Principal (Administration), who spoke about the perseverance and growth of MCA department, and also shared the memory about the first year of inauguration of Tecblaze.
Presidential Address
The presidential address was delivered by Dr. N.Pughazendi, Vice Principal (Academics). He delivered an inspiring speech about the significance of this events and shared his experience to motivate the students.
Inaugural Address:
The chief guest delivered an inspiring inaugural address, motivating students to embrace innovation, continuous learning, and adaptability in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

A major highlight of the programme was a series of expert-led sessions conducted by specialists from:

The event concluded with a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony recognizing outstanding performances across all categories.
SRM Valliammai Engineering College emerged as the Overall Champions, securing the coveted trophy for their exceptional performance across multiple events. The winners were applauded for their dedication, technical brilliance, and competitive spirit.
Valedictory Session
TECBLAZE – 2026 stood as a testament to SRMIST’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and empowering students to excel in the evolving technological landscape.
Dr. S. Thirumagan, Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities, distributed the prizes to winners, and congratulated the overall champions, and motivated all participants to continue enhancing their skills and pursue professional excellence.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.M.Sakthi asvini , Assistant Professor,The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the management, chief guests, industry partners, faculty coordinators, organizing committee members, student volunteers, and enthusiastic participants whose collective efforts made TECBLAZE-2K26 a grand success.
